Leadership Coeur d’Alene Enrollment Deadline: Leadership Coeur d’Alene is seeking a diverse group of qualified and dedicated members for its Class of 2013. This is the best way to learn about our community and the issues we face. If you are a person who is interested in understanding what makes the Coeur d’Alene area a great place to live and do business, consider enrolling in the Leadership Coeur d’Alene Program. Toni Sayler CDA Leadership Scholarship — If you are a small business owner, self employed or work for a nonprofit, you are eligible to apply for the Tony Sayler Scholarship! To be awarded to an individual who will learn and benefit professionally and personally from the knowledge, relationships, resources and skills learned over the course of a year, in order to give back to this exceptional community. Candidates must meet the following criteria: 1) Candidate must be nominated by a past Leadership Graduate by letter of recommendation. 2) Candidate must demonstrate an interest to become active in civic and community affairs. Candidate must commit the energy and time required to participate. 3) Candidate and/or organization must be a member of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce and reside in Kootenai County. Priority for scholarships goes to candidates; in the nonprofit sector, who are self-employed or small business owners of 5 employees or less. Chosen candidate must pay half of the $750 tuition ($375) before the first class, this will be reimbursed upon graduation.
